A lovely shadow play, not least from the stamens of the front flower, Yun.  I like the overall colour tones very much - might it even come a touch brighter ?

Beautiful image of these blossoms with such clear focus on the veins of the nearest blossom and then fading to the background, blurry versions. Love the comp and colors, and the shadows of the stamens are wonderful too!

Very nice, Yun. I like the comp, backlighting, and nice (and unusual) bg. Striking floral image.

Unusual, but I certainly like it. I would love to see it a bit brighter as an alternative, but good as is.

Very nice comp and colors.  I love the backlighting and the shadows showing through the translucent petals.

Selecting one bloom in the clusters that apple blossom typically produce is quite a challenge, Yun.  You've done well here, with the single bloom nicely emphasized while surrounded by "friends".  The shadows of the stamen are a fine extra.  I too think that a subtle brightening in the stamen area and surroundings could be a gentle improvement, but that's a subtlety on a lovely image.

Thanks everyone for the comments! Here's a re-worked version. I brightened the whole image and boosted the contrast and sharpened the shadows of the stamen.

“Selecting one bloom in the clusters that apple blossom typically produce is quite a challenge” Mark, you fully understand my shooting scene and challenge, thank you.
