Snowy Egret

Although it appears this Snowy Egret is calling I think it is just yawning. No sound came out. I was able to get several images of this Egret, this one is a favorite. Taken in nice late evening Florida light. It is FF top to bottom cropped from a horizontal. Noise reduction applied to the bg only. I always wonder if I've gotten the whites right. I would appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful image, Steve.
I like the bird pose on this. The BG is nice as well.

Hi Steve,

The whites look pretty good on my monitor--there's a little bit of warmth to the whites due to the sunset light conditions.  Pose and sharpness look good as well.....................Jim

A very nice yawning pose in sweet light you captured Steve! I might try to selectively brighten the egret just a bit to see what it looks like.

Very nice details! Love those feet!

Interesting pose, Steve. Wouldn't have guessed it was yawn if you hadn't mentioned it. The whites look good.

Unique pose in some nice light.  He gave you just enough of a head turn to make this work.  Well done.

Very nice to be able to get warm lighting and nice definition the same time. Terrific pose and composition. A very nice image overall.
