This is a nice scene showcasing the unusual rock. I like the understated colors in the sky. I am finding the water quite heavy toward cyan and seeing some haloing around the rock?

I like the interplay between the calm sky and the chaotic water. Comp is psot on as far as I'm concerned, the rock is a great addition. I do agree with the two things Harley mentioned though.

Thanks for the comments guys. In the RAW file the water was almost white due to glare of the morning sun. I did not adjust hue at all, I knocked down the exposure for the water and increased saturation only slightly and that's what was left. I agree it's not a realistic representation but I think it compliments the soft pastel in the sky well. As for the halo, sharpening for web has always been a challenge for me. What looks good in PS usually looks soft on the web to me, so I guess at how much to over sharpen in PS and hope for the best when I post it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you could bring out a bit more color in the sky.
As of the sharpening, it is easy to overdue for the web. I do not make specific, for the web images, I always use a finished
image (converted to jpeg) and then make the small web version so the photos are already sharpened and I apply just a tiny amount after downsizing and then view it before I post it. Some just do "from scratch" web images from the RAW and only sharpen the downsized file.
To me, the rock edges look like they left from a selection and you did not fade in the edges?

Really nice image, Bruce. Haloing fixes are as varied as the causes.  For me it's hit or miss, I use Lightroom to export images to my hard drive and use the sharpen for web function.  Seems to work for me.   I like the surf and sky and the Wizard's Hat is very cool.  I can imagine Mark's workshop was awesome.

Like the composition and love the wave action. I think I'd try to bring down the exposure of the sky a wee little bit. It's a bit too "white" now, for my taste, that is. :)
