A herd of White Bearded Gnus run across the shallow end of Lake Masek during this year's Great Migration photographic safari I hosted last February.

Great setting n beautiful frame! Love the golden band behind the Gnus.
I may prefer to crop off the yellow reflection of sky, at the bottom of frame.

Interesting shot, Mario.  Not all of the elements quite work for me--the balance between light and dark seems a little off... maybe I'm wishing they were silhouetted a bit better--however, there's no question it's different and interesting.

Hi Mario,

This one is interesting and impactful as posted. And I do love those splashes created by their hooves.

For me this is the kind of shot that definitely stops me and makes me think. I tend to be agreeing with both Max and Jagdeep - that something is a bit off with the balance of the elements and I am leaning toward thinking cropping off the orange reflection on the bottom (as per Jagdeep's suggestion) and I'm with Max in wishing the subjects were silhouetted just a bit more.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this one...
