Gray tree frog
by mark cillo
It was warm this evening so a friend and I decided to do a little exploring around a wooded area near our house. I brought a couple light weight flash stands and my camera in case we found any interesting creatures. We made this lucky discovery and I was able to get several nice images before the tiny frog bounced away. The frog was perched nicely on this tiny limb, almost as if it were posing. Please correct me if I am wrong, I believe this is a Gray Tree Frog
Very little post edit, crop and slight adjustment to white balance.

6 commentsI like this image--cute tree frog nicely framed in the comp. The use of the flash worked well providing a range of brightness while maintaining the nocturnal atmosphere of the moment.
Mark, nice cute frog against the black background. I like the details in the eyes. Well done!
