Great composition and good lighting. I don't know, there's something creepy about this image. In a reptilian way. Or cadaverous fingers. Pretty emotional image. Some of it comes from the darkness and some from those colors. I would clone the urc. Great job of conveying an emotion (at least for me).

Sweet root image, Balan. Love the luminance and light. I agree with Igor about the URC. Very nice.

Nice photo it almost looks like an animal skin thanks to the wrinkles and pores details !
The little reflection if nicely dosed to capture all the detail of these roots. It is also well composed, those curve wants me to look at the trunk which I imagine massive. in summary, great job.

Beautiful forms and textures, Balan. These roots really look like living creatures. I love the subtle colors, too. I might darken the upper right corner a bit. But still a great shot.

This is a nice abstract. I love the light and the subtle color. I agree with cloning out (or burning down) the bit in the upper right corner, and there' is another bit in the upper left corner that you might consider treating, too. Nicely seen image, Balan.

Folks,
Many thanks for your comments. As per your suggestions, I was looking at cloning out the URC and LRC. Would it not make the image imbalanced to the left? Will try to upload the cloned image in a day

The curved roots and the lighting are great, Balan. This is well seen. Reducing the impact of the two bright spots in the upper corners either by cloning or by burning in will be a good improvement.

Beautiful patterns, light and colors. I would concur about the clone of the URC. The banyan roots look a lot like fig tree roots.

Beautiful abstract photo! I might burn the urc a bit, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

Balan,
Fabulous graphic and root study. Color works well here and I suspect b&w would as well.
The only nit/suggestion would be dealing with the URC, clone or crop. but that's minor.
Well seen and captured.

Hi Balan, like your composition here and I think I prefer the original color. If you can bring back a little shine to the ULC i think its a winner.
