Beach with Gull

This was taken more as an environmental image of the gull, but it does show the Oregon sand beach.

7D2, 500mm f4 ISL + 1.4TC, hand held, f/7.1, 1/5000, iso 640, manual exposure.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Straightened about 1/4 degree and cropped from the top to eliminate a bunch of sky and fogged over water that didn't add anything to the image.  Taken June 11, 2015.  I posted another frame from this session shortly after that time.

Comments and criticisms are most appreciated.

Thanks,

A classic, "gull on the beach" scene, Dennis.  Has me grinning and wondering about when my next beach trip might be.  I like your pano crop and narrow focus, as they convey both the sense of a beach running along the shore forever and the shortness between the dunes and the sea.

This is really pretty cool Dennis. I like the lone goal just sitting out there on the sand. Are you making a statement? In any case I think this is a good photo to illustrate the challenge. Well seen.

wow, nice image.  I like the serenity of this picture.  Wishing I was the gull right now.  Well done.
