Congratulations on the new bird, Ken.  A beauty of an image with excellent detail, a nice composition and very appropriate and appealing perch.  Well done.

Excellent comp, background and details.  The light worked very well to show the plumage, too.
Congrats on the new species.

Kudos on the new bird. Great perch and the detail is "fine".   Help me....I would have cropped down a bit from the Rt top corner.  I have a tendency to perhaps crop too much on my avian photos.  Any comments to that affect?  Thanks so!

Amazing exposure work on this bird. You have very good detail in the blacks and the whites in what looks to have been pretty strong light. And your usual impeccable techs. Love the thorns in the perch, too. Oh, and congratulations on the lifer.

Congrats on the new species Ken! I like this image a lot. If mine, I might be tempted to place him a tiny bit higher in the frame, but certainly not a big issue, just a preference. nice work

Awesome bird on a great perch in sweet light! I would be tempted to crop it a bit tighter also.
