Normally the eye of Gnus is not visible due to their long eyelashes, so I was quite pleased to get this one.
Taken in Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Botswana.

That great eye is clear in the larger image - excellent catch, and very sharp.
Nice habitat - perhaps a bit tight at the rear end?
Didn't see the second image til I scrolled down - very excellent portrait too.
