This is a little more intimate view of a prior post of R. B. Ricketts Falls. The light rain this particular day made the photographic conditions perfect for waterfall images. Hopefully I will be heading back in about tree weeks for some spring time images. If you love waterfalls you owe it to yourself to check out the 22 named waterfalls and numerous cascades in this beautiful area.

Very natural processing and a nice lead in with that big maple leaf.  The warm glow above the falls is very nice as well. I might tone down that tiny piece of rock in the ULC or even a tiny crop off of the top.  Really nice image and feel.  Spring should be pretty good here.

This is real sweet, Ed. The tonality and color look spot-on. No nits, here. I really like the large maple leaf and the sheen on the rocks.

Ed, This looks great. Interesting comp that I like very much and I too like the natural feel of your processing. I would love to visit this place one of these days.

Beautiful spot.  Perfect gentle light - rainy days are ideal for waterfall images.  Well Done.

As I would be there sitting on a rock looking and hearing the falls. Very natural, there's light for every parts of the picture so it's well balanced. I love it, Bravo!

Ed,
Beautiful capture. Love the warm tones. Comp. works great with interest from front to back. Processing looks very natural. A minor nit: I see what appears to be a dust spot in the lower center of the waterfall. In any event it keeps catching my eye in the large version.

Very attractive capture Ed.  Good shadow detail around the falls and the color of the leaves is grand.  A very minor nit is that I would have preferred a slightly faster shutter speed in order to provide more detail in the main falls.

This is a really fine image. A composition of repeating shapes. The opening of light and forest above the falls adds a lot to this creation with it's suggestion of great things beyond. The contrast between the dark cliffs and the light above works well. Can't make any suggestions other than adding more sharpness with a focus blend rather than shooting at f22.

Just some lovely colors here, comp works well and the BG light is very nicely done.

Now that really says "autumn". The inclusion of that large leaf in the fg is very nice. I really like it, and my only suggestion would be to fix the dust bunny at the bottom of the waterfalls.

The large maple leaf works well as a FG and the smaller falls fills in what would otherwise be empty space.  Well seen abd executed.

Great shot Ed. No nits fro me except the aforementioned dust spec. Nice control of the FG without blowing out the BG forest. Luckily it was overcast. The small sidestream cascade is really what adds interest to this falls.devil

Ed,

A beautifully composed image of the falls and surrounding environment and I must say just as wonderfully processed. Great job with this.

Other than the minor suggestions (good job on the repost,)  you might consider a very slight burn down of the sheen on the rocks in the LR.  We're talking very minor, just a thought, especially if you're thinking of printing.
