Sorry for the long silence folks...
This photo is from the magical Mana Pools - I was on foot spending time with a group of elephant bulls as they foraged for breakfast in the golden glow of the albida woodlands. The big tusker had just brought down a big branch from the tree by standing upright on his hind legs.

I am eager to return in July with a group of photographers to introduce them to my happy place!

You find the greatest light. This is no exception. Looks like there are 3 elephants. Initially, I was not too sure of inclusion of the tree, but on further examination I think it adds to the image as the source of the limb.

A terrific frame! Thanks to your pictures, I can recognize frames from Mana Pools now. laugh

IMHO the burnt sky is slightly distracting.
