Well, I'm back with another bighorn! angel

Been tied up on some business stuff but have been wanting to post this one for a bit because of the interesting character to the ram's horn tips (a fresh broom from the rut and some vegetation & hair from chasing ewes in the forest).

This is actually a bit more of a crop than I prefer, down to about 55% of original, but I simply wasn't anticipating this guy to step out from the dark forest at this location and chose to plant the tripod and shoot rather than scramble. I simply didn't like the full-body shot because of the unflattering angle to the legs, and wanted to emphasize the elements I thought made it unique.

Yes, it's fine in colour enlightened but I far prefer it in B&W.

Thanks in advance for your time, comments, critiques and suggestions. Click through to the larger version if you have time for better detail.

Another stellar image Bighorn image. The B&W is wonderful here. What makes this for me are the broomed tips with the hair. There is an embedded story there that lets your mind race with different scenarios that might have happened. Well done.

No nits here, John.  Nice conversion.  I like how the eye finds the vegetation first, then the fresh broom expands on the story.
