Here's a first image from my maiden trip to Iceland. It was such a surreal place to explore, and while there are many iconic locations I managed to make images of, this one to me is pretty special. The sheer size of the glaciers that power the country is mind-blowing, and I couldn't think of a better way to showcase that than by showing a human figure trying to scale the vast expanse of the glacier. This image was the consequence of a spontaneous action, and I didn't realize how quickly I raised the camera to my eye and pressed the shutter.

Would love to hear your thoughts on it

Great idea to include the human being, I would not have guessed those ice structures to be this big without him/her as a comparison. The inclusion of the ice structures in the fg as framing is also very nice, it puts the focus more on the human being. No nits, just a splendid photo!

Yes, Iceland is a very special place and this is a very impressive image with respect to the glaciers. Unfortunately, I did not have time to make it here on my initial visit however it is definitely part of my plans for my next visit. This is a very nicely done image with respect to showing scale.  You have also done a good job of displaying color well. I look forward to seeing more of your images.

I really like the textures in the ice, and the lovely blues and cyans. The person adds a nice dimension by which to gage the scale. Nicely done.

I like the overall composition and off course the person in the image that gives it a sense of scale.  The blue hues emphasize how cold it must have been.
