Large Egret at sunset

I happened to align this perch with the setting sun, which still had about 5 more minutes to go, before it could have been right behind this branch and this large egret arrived here. Just when I was thanking my stars, another egret came and attacked this one and both vanished. frown

Good job of catching this one before it flew off. Very sharp image of the egret. I like that the BG does not have other elements in it, just the color. Thanks for sharing.

There's so much to like about this image. If I have one nit - and it's a small one - it's for there to be a hint more room on the bottom.

Beautiful, Jagdeep. You really nailed this one with a gorgeous pose and perch and that beautiful sunset behind it. I like your exposure on the bird with just the barest hint of detail from the wing joint and along the beak. Very well done.

A beautiful silhouette here Jagdeep, fantastic colors in the sunset, the comp is a little bit centered, it would make a nice vertical cropping to just behind the bird and a bit in front. devil
