A very classic view of Skogafoss in Iceland. There was a campground right over my right shoulder - must be a fantastic place to stay (other than the fall's constant rumble ).
Thanks for looking!

How on earth did you get a photo without people in it?? When I was there it was just swamped with people, absolutely horrible. Moreover, since I was traveling by bicycle, many aimed their attention and cameras at me, grrr. I fled the place very quickly....
The vignetting is a bit too strong for my taste, but otherwise this is a very nice rendition of this beautiful waterfall!

Thanks Roel! I guess that being there at 11 or 11.30 pm helped a bit in terms of avoiding the crowds. Traveling across Iceland by bike must have been quite an effort - kudos to you!

This is superb. The rising mist and clouds add a wonderful mood. I would agree with Roel that that vignetting is a bit too strong. Other than that, this is a winner.

Basil, What a cool image!! I agree that the vignetting seems a bit strong but it probably does add to the mood this has. This looks like an awesome falls and you captured it beautifully.

I like this version of Skogafoss especially with the stream coming right down the middle of the picture. Looks like you got there before anybody else or your cloning was exceptional.

David - the option I tended to like better on this trip was: After everybody else had left. ;-)

Very nice shot and good pov. The lower third is a bit lackluster.

Basil,
Wonderful image of the falls. Straight forward comp of course; for me the light, color, clouds in the sky really top this off.
I can understand the vignetting observations, but honestly I wouldn't have commented had it not already been mentioned. I like the greens showing through all the mist and spray.
Well done and kudos for staying out until the people cleared out.
