Redbud starting to turn

This is a planted Eastern Redbud on my property in the Northern Sierra foothills.  I liked the patterns of the leaves here, and especially enjoyed the suggestion of Batman in the negative space.  Ironically, Western Redbuds are very common around here, but many people have planted the Eastern variety.  D800e, 300f4, 1.4tc, f 16, 1/125, ISO 1000.  My first time in this gallery. Comments and criticism are welcome.

Jim: Welcome to the finest Flora gallery on the planet and thanks for a fine first post. Redbuds are one of my favorite trees and I like what you've done here. I do see Batmansad. I like the tension created by the fading leaf which really commands attention. Great to have you aboard and looking forward to more.>=))>

I think this is intriguing. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Two reasons—the leaves fill the frame without too many complications and the image tells a story.cool

I like the amount of green. the frame filling, the lines, and the negative space.  I also see Batman.  :)  I do wish that the one leaf was in a bit nicer shape.
