Another from my trip to Nisqually last month. Again, this was taken from an elevated boardwalk, so the angle was a bit steeper than optimal, though I did like the reflections it created in the water.

7D2, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600, Wimberley sidekick and Arca Swiss Z1 Monoball on Gitzo 3441 legs, f/8, 1/30, iso 500, aperture priority, pattern metering. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Cropped to 17.7 MP before resizing. Taken at 8:28 AM on February 25th.

I particularly like the water in this image, Dennis. The muted color tones are also very pleasing, but I think it is a tad dark - perhaps you can consider increasing the brightness a little bit, especially around the head.

So many duck images are just the duck on the water, so I like the reeds in the image. The reflection held up well for the surface being disturbed. I agtee about the head being a tad lighter.

I agree with Govind's issue with the exposure, so here's a version with the duck lightened up a bit.
