Kids in a market

These kids were just hanging out in a Beijing market.  I like the expressions on their faces.  The boy seems quite wary of my intrusion.  And yes, the pink hair ties were that hot...

David: the pose of both the kids (especially their hands) is great. I do believe the little boy is giving you the evil eye! enlightened Do you have one where the boys' shoes are not cut off? That would be a minor improvement. Richard

Very nicely done, David. The expressions are priceless. I love the colors!

Excellent pose, color and expressions. The only thing that would make the image better is to have moved them up in the frame a little.

Nice David:

In my time in China I did a lot of people/street photography. Some of what I got from the kids was what I call the "Foreign Devil Look."   A mixture of curiosity and unfamilararity with a little natural zenofobia tossed in. I am certain in some neighborhoods they had seen as many Foreign Devils as Martians. Older people in the cosmopolitan environments were often very friendly indeed.

Cheers:   Tom
