Hello all:

This is an image from last year. (Male) Yellow headed black bird in breeding habitat.

Techs: 840mm, 1/125s@F7.1, ISO500, taken from car window, cropped from horizontal to vertical.

Sweet image, Govind. I've always liked these birds and you did a great job on the very difficult exposure of the yellows and blacks. The dof with mostly oof reeds in the bg is wonderful. Very well done.

I like the pose here Govind, but do find myself wishing you had a tiny bit more head turn. I also wish you had a little more room (mostly on top and left), but still a very nice image. Great techs as well.

Beautiful colors, sharp detail. I like the complimentary background. I agree a bit more room on top would be nice, but basically a beautiful photo. Well done.

This is a very good portrait with well resolved dynamic range—good details from black to white. The background really sets off the bird. My only small nit is a wish for a bit more of a head turn. Exceptional work! devil
