Here's a hummingbird (Violet-capped Woodnymph) from the Atlantic Rainforest of Brazil taken that we photographed last summer.  I hung this flower near the hummingbird feeders and doused it with sugar water.  Natural light.

Love the fact that it is natural light. The hummer is in front of the light part of the background, which worked out really well. The colors are just great. Well done.

Hi Nate,
Well done with natural lighting.  The composition is very balanced  and there's enough room to experiment with cropping to make a more dynamic presentation.  Either way, it is a darn good picture of this hummer..........................................Jim

Beautiful colors, Nate. A bit of wing blue works well here.

Lovely composition, Nate, and a gorgeous bird.  Nice detail and good use of the natural light.  I like just the hint of blur in the wings.
