Sorry to be so out of the picture lately. Nothing much to shoot around here we don't seem to be seeing the Bohemian Waxwings which should now be in the city.

This is a shot from about 8 years ago, but I still like it.

May: what a delightful photo. The pose of the bird with its prey against a clean background is excellent. My only very minor suggestion would be to drop the exposure of the bird just a bit to make it stand out more strongly against the background. Great otherwise. Congrats!! Richard

I can see why you like it, May. Exquisite detail and the classic berry-in-the-beak are great. The portrait gives an awesome look at the eye.

May - great portrait with pleasing colors, background and "action". This appears to be a pretty significant crop though and I'm just wishing for more detail
