Red-tail in Flight

I just found this one unprocessed from February of last year. I don't even remember taking it. From the other shots in the folder, I remember it was snowing lightly (as evident in the frame) in the Back Bay Fens of Boston.

Canon 5D III, EF 400mm F/5.6

1/2000s, F/5.6, ISO 1250, Cropped to 65% of original

Cheers,

Hisham.

A beauty, Hisham. From the lightness of the underbody, I'd say there was a deal of reflection from snow on the ground? Whatever, it wound up being unusually lighted, top to bottom bright.

Thanks Phil! You are correct. That was a record snow year in Boston.

A nice crisp flight shot of the hawk, Hisham, though it looks rather bright.  I love the bg.

Really nice shot. Not bad for one you don't remember. The whites are a bit hot. I might try to pull them down a bit. Well done.

Great image, Hisham. I liked it a lot.
Very beautiful contrast between the white and the BG.

Excellent flight shot, Hisham. I like the colors, the snowflakes and the wing position. I do wish the bird had a little more virtual room to fly in to, but very good as posted.
