Wonderfully mysterious in the moonlight, with the glowing, opalescent colors. Very cool!

Hey Bill, <div style="text-align:justify">Excellent job on this image. It has a wonderful mood with interesting elements. The lighting is fantastic and sets off the subjects perfectly against the dark background. The greenery in the top right corner gives a nice balance of environment but the water reflection, slightly disrupted by the ripples, makes the overall composition a real wall hanger. I would consider removing the three lighter spots above the right Spoonbill that are more noticeable in the very impressive large version.
Congratulations on the WP . . .  devil</div>

Congratulations Bill, this is a beautiful image.  A well deserved Editor's Pick.  It must have been amazing to see these facinating birds.devil

Hello Elizabeth,..Mike... It was taken a few years ago when I had my Nikon D200, that really didn't do well on ISO above 400, but I was interested to see the results and these little guys were very relaxed, so i used a few different settings ,  There was a lonely cattle egret wandering in and around this time too and he showed off nicely with his breeding plumage.
PS... Was taken in Cuba.

Great to get you feedback, and thanks for viewing ! :) :)
