Lots of layers and some very nice colors. I like the way all of the colors compliment each other.

Dave, What a cool image this is! All the layers work beautifully together and the light is wonderful. I love the colors in this and you have such nice textures in the layers. Very nice work on this! Your comp works great too!!

Hi  Dave crying  It's amazing  how  a different  perspective   can  completely  change an image .  i  liked the previous post,  but  this one to me is  even better.  all  the  beautiful  layers of color and  detail, but  with  serenity  and more harmony.

Beautiful colors and layers. I might crop out a bit more of the sky, but pretty dang minor.  Pretty scene.

I believe I prefer the vertical orientation for this scene although I like that the road has gone away. Nevertheless a beautiful rendition of the Eastern Sierra, the reeds/grass and other vegetation make this special even more so than the distant mountain light.

This is simply fantastic, Dave. I really love what you have done with the layers here, particularly the FG grasses, along with the brush and trees. My only suggestion; and this is just a personal preference; would be to crop about 1/2 the sky. Either way this is a beauty.

Nice scene and the winter colors create a great image.  I drive by this area a lot but only stopped once or twice to take pictures.  I drove by here Sunday on my way home from Mammoth during a snow storm.  Owens Valley was covered with snow all the way down to Lone Pine.  Made for an interesting drive.

Even though this looks very good too, I think I prefer the magnificent vertical crop. That one is more powerful than this comp.
