Always love to see baby elephants. The smaller one is beyond cute. Well captured.

Blows the top off the Cute Scale.  For some reason, I want to see the entire adult here.  Of course it would depend on what was around if you backed it out just a bit.  That's just me.

I love the three-layered look here - big, bigger and biggest.  Plus, the baby is so, so precious.

The half wet/half dry babies are the cutest, that I've seen in a very long time!  I just love the curve of the baby's trunkdevil As was already said....well beyond cute!  With such cute babies, I don't care about seeing all of sadMaMa

This is the kind of picture, I shoot with a big smile behind the camera!sad
However the position of bigger elephant could have been better.

Pretty adorable, Ken! Great expressions and interaction between the two youngsters. I love the contrast in ages and especially only the youngest having the wet face. Mom's position (or the guardian behind, anyway) is really the only nit but good grief how do you control that in these kinds of situations? I'm definitely wondering what a tighter zoom would have resulted in, but definitely "get" your rationale in keeping the adult's eyes (though am unsure if in the end that's a plus or if it complicates the overall image a touch). Nope...I keep coming back to guessing that what you've done is the right choice for this barring a change of position/camera angle which may not have been possible. It's a very endearing picture.

John,
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
Elephants do not often pose perfectly, we find you jut have to get in a position and hope for the best!
Unfortunately they often get in each others waysad
