As long as everyone is searching their hard drives for previously unposted floral images, here is one of mine from late last spring. Peony, Fellows Riverside Gardens, Youngstown. D600, 150 macro, 1/400, f3.5, iso 200. Suggestions, critiques, and other comments welcome. crying

Wow!  The lines, colors, softness - they are all gorgeous.  Very, very pretty.

A lovely soft image, Scott.  I like the placement of the in-focus elements and the little bit of yellow in the center works very well.

I like the colors and depth of field. This is a very nice image, and I like the softness of it.

Critique: I find the out of focus flowers to be pulling my attention a bit too much, especially the LLC. A composition with only foliage in the background, if possible, might work better.

Everything pretty much spot on for me here, Scott.  Just enough linear definition in the petal edges to work well with the softness.  Might have liked the fg bottom L cram to be a touch less prominent but a nice feel for the qualities of the flower as is.
