This evening there was a stunning sunset at the nearby docks.  This is before the sky got really crazy.   You can't really tell at such a wide angle, but the tip of the pier points to the inlet out into the ocean which was created by Superstorm Sandy

I very much like the perspective and the framing, and of course the colors are very eye-catching.  I think the only way to improve on this is to either make the foreground sand fully sharp or have some motion blur throughout.

These shots are fun to work with and I like what you came up with!

Jim - thanks a lot.  Hope this doesn't make you miss the island too much!  I really wasn't noticing the blur/focus thing out in the field but when I was processing the images I started to notice it.  Easy enough to blur in PP - thanks!

Very nice, Luke. I like this interesting point of view and the sky looks great. Nice reflections across the water too.

Very nice, Luke. The depth of field isn't quite perfect, but what can you do past f22? The exposure is spot-on.
