Tater

Tater was very energetic about snow his first winter and would often come in with more moisture than a single towel could hold. His enthusiasm has waned a bit in his third winter, but a single towel is still insufficient. This is from his 1st winter.

Canon 5Dii, Canon 70-200 2.8, iso 200, 1/500 @ f8

Thanks for looking

Hi Neil,
It is amazing how many dogs enjoy snow.  You should see our pile of towels after we dry our 2 Newfs and a Berner after they play in the rain.  I like the snowballs on the face and the tail that indicates he's ready to play...............................Jim

Wow--awesome look at Tater here with so much to like! Great light, phenomenal detail, and wonderful contrast from the snow and overall tones. The wisps of grass is a really nice touch that add more to the image that one might think IMO. I really like this one, Neil!

Love that beard!  Very nice capture with excellent exposure and color plus I agree with John that the foreground grasses add quite a bit to the image despite the sparseness.  The large version is a must view to really appreciate that snowball beard blush

Sure does look like he was having fun with the snow, Neil.  The overcast light really lets the details in his face show well in the larger view.
