It's a rare occasion that the sky is blue and it's totally calm at the same time in the winter (or any other time for that matter) in Valdez, Alaska. This was one of those days about 12 years ago. I went to the Small Boat Harbor, knowing there would be some great reflection opportunities and I wasn't disappointed. The water in the harbor was almost a perfect mirror. For this one I took two vertical shots and stitched them to get more resolution.

Gary, I like it a lot; beautiful day up there and perfect reflection. All the blues and whites mix well together and make a striking photo.

Very lovely scene. The reflection is quite exquisite as are the colours. Especially effective is the blue of the boat acting as a focale point for the blues of the sky and the water.

Lovely, Gary. I like the boat you chose to highlight-lots more character than some of the ones I can see off to the side. Beautiful sky and mountains.
