Wisconsin Eagle

The eagles were widespread this year due to a lack of ice on the Misissippi. I did manage a few decent shots, however. I liked the nice look at the feather detail and the snow on his back.

Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

That and you were able to position him without any twigs intersecting his head or front.  Nively done.

A great look at the eye, and excellent job on the exposure of the whites, Jerry.  Nicely done.

Hi Jerry,

I like the pose, clean sky, and the nice window through the branches.  I also like how you handled the whites too...............Jim

Nice "over the shoulder" shot, Jerry. I like that you were able to pretty much avoid any interfering branches. Was the ISO 100 a conscious choice?

I like that over the shoulder pose Jerry. Nice work on the whites, they are a challange sometimes. The branches frame the Eagle nicley. This is surely a typical habitat for Eagles in our part of the world.  Very well done!  devil
