A happy New Year to all!
This image was taken with a Sigma SD1M and a Meyer Görlitz Primotar 135mm (mounted via a M42 adapter).
The subject, a Cowslip (Primula veris) is strongly defocused against the setting sun. The aim was to try and retain enough 'essence' of the form of the flower to make it recognisable.
