A female Leopard posing beautifully in golden light atop a termite mound in the Mara North Conservancy in Kenya. This is one of many images captured during what I consider one of the best leopard sightings ever. We had this lady and her couple mating on a mound for over three hours so the number of opportunities was overwhelming, some of which have already been posted here previously.

Mario,

yes that are perfect conditions and it makes me really jealous. I said it already on another post, since I switched to DSLR leopards start to avoid me cheeky

You have wonderfully detailed resolution @560mm...noting the crisp definintion of whiskers. She is offering you a regal pose and coupled with the mound, a classic compositional shape. I envy that three hour opportunity!

Interesting how the contours of the bush echo the triangular shape of the leopard. Great color and tone, as usual!

Hello Mario , Beautiful....She is glowing with the encounter !

Really like her being separated so well from background. She is centered at the pinnacle of the termite mound, then triangular framed with lighter green background , to finiish it off with her Look , furrowed intense brow:)

Gorgeous portrait. I love that the background is darker. It really highlights this gorgeous girl's beautiful gold color.

Mario: there's beautiful light on the leopard. I like the way she's placed agasint a complimentary background which mimics her shape as well. Congrats! Richard
