House finch 2 + repost

This is the same bird I posted earlier, but I took a couple steps sideways and the OOF barn BG became the clear blue sky BG. The light was not quite hitting the finch the same as in the previous post, but close enough. Would like comments on which BG works best. Thanks for your time.

A nice shot of the finch either way, John, but I prefer the first post, both for that gorgeous bg (even if it was a barn) and also because I prefer the pose in the former.

I agree with every word Dennis just said John. The first image has the color impact that just screams for you to look at it.

It isn't a fair comparison as the barn version has much better light and exposure. In this version the finch is too dark.
