This is another shot from July 2011.  I love Fireweed, but this shot is all about the water drops.  I don't remember anything about this shot.

150 macro, f11, 1/250th second, ISO 800, hand held

Comments welcome.

Lovely, Steve.  the drops are indeed the focus of the image and the images within the drops really make this image, but the nice curves in the stamens and pistil really help carry the image.

Very nice, Steve. The waterdrops and refractions of the landscape are excellent. Nice work to get them all sharp. Beautiful bg. Wish you could have avoided the oof petal in the LLC, but I am sure this was, in fact, unavoidable.

A not impossible clone. I apologize for using your image, but this is an easy one. Using the content aware move tool, loosely select the area to clone. Move the selection to a clear area and commit the move. Then delete the selection. Use the history brush to remove any residual stuff left in the area moved to. And done!

Wow!  Thank you Phil!  That looks great!  I do almost everything in Lightroom and it's much more difficult.  Something new to practice!
