Better than a Lion?

For me the Tiger is the finest looking predator of them all. Unfortunately they do not live in Africa, although some claim there is evidence that they once did.
I have visited India five times and found the difficulties of viewing to be the equivalent of a busy day in the Masai Mara, hectic and bad mannered, but I am sure I will return one day,
This young Male was taken in Bandavgargh National Park.

Ken,

very nice portrait. I like that intense stare. Technically also good.

Beautiful shot and love the comp too... This fella with his brother and sister were a show stopper during that time but  didn't had a happy ending for them at the end, even though they got featured in NG and win award from BBC and Nature Best for a very well known NG photographer. Nostalgic image to be rekindled and thanks for sharing Ken.

Full frame?  I think more space would be fine, if you have it.  Techs look spot on.  And I agree with you...fine looking indeed.  Beautiful subjects.

They certainly get my vote as the best looking large cat, Ken.  I like this portrait with the concentrated stare and the nice bg.
