Eland

Every now and again Eland do not run away when you approach them, this was one of these rare occasions.
The largest Antelope in Africa is in my view a beautiful animal and certainly better than the Buffalo for a Big 5 selection, it was obviously not dangerous to hunt
This Male and female posed nicely for us in the Lewa conservancy, Kenya.

Beautiful capture of antelope that we don't see very often. Well done.

Ken,

you are absolutely right, it really seems that this big antelope is more afraid as any other antelope type. Nice to see an image of them so relaxed and also male and female. Both poses are as well fine.

I agree they posed nicely for you.  IMHO a very pleasing composition.  I like the bird on the left side eland.  I would like to see it just a slight bit darker.  Thanks for sharing.

Another excellent capture, Ken!  Crisp detail, excellent poses, perfect exposure and the little bird is a nice bonus.  Well done! devil

I like this as posted Ken. Love the soft light, the head turn from both makes me wonder what they are looking at and the bird looking over the back of the antelope on the left is a nice touch.
