Swedish Rush Hour

Here in Germany we consider the scandinavian people to be more of the quiet kind, but at my first trip to Stockholm / Sweden I have to say that I learned that in the summer time they are quiet active. It was incredible for me how crowdy Stockholm was after business hours. It was nearly impossible to walk through the pedestrian zone and I tought I have to document that on a photo. The best idea I had was to use a long exposure and I made the picture while walking into the crowd ...

Canon EOS 10D, EF 17-40L, F11, 1/15s, handheld and hopping for the best

Photoshop curves, resize, full format and believe it or not not sharpening sad

This one definitely conveys a sense of motion. I like the abstract look of the crowd.

Cay-Uwe,
You certainly have a penchant for creativity and different approaches to life around us.  No doubt the crowd is moving.  I can almost hear the sounds.

Cay-Uwe, I like this kind of stuff.  Nice (long) moment with a pleasing effect.  It really creates a good motion study and nicely titled.
