So many young Elaphants in Hwange, hard to jusge how old this one is but going by the pink tinge not more than a few days.
Quite how well the trees can survive under this constantly increasing population is unclear?
Better pumps at the waterholes are a must, we bought one and it is installed at Manga 3.

Ken: I like the soft, warm light on the scene. The little guy surely is "fresh". This one might benefit from a crop which would put more emphasis on the calf. Richard

Super cute. Having both the little one and the mom in the frame really helps to see the size difference at this age. Nice one Ken.

I got a few more , not just this baby but others, there are always pleny of babies in Hwange, and no doubt elsewhere!
