It's been a while since I posted here the last time. Life has been busy but I was also a lot on the road.First week of august I did a backpacking trip with fellow swiss landscape photographer and good friend Martin Mägli. It's always a pleasure and much fun being on tour in the swiss alps with him. I have known this place from a few pictures I have seen and it has always been on my "to-do-list" for a couple of years. So when Martin asked me if I would come along I didn't have to think twice.

This is so beautiful it just makes me want to hum songs from the Sound of Music. The sunburst and back lighting of the tiny flowers really make this photo for me, plus the lovely lines of the water leading into the mountains. How wonderful to have this kind of beauty in your back yard. Thanks for sharing it.

The backlit glow on the cottongrass is superb, as is the angular design of the stream which really pulls your composition together. A spectacular alpine image.

What a gorgeous place you have captured here.  The smell of spring comes through the screen and the warmth of the sun just above the mountain can be felt.  Really love this shot
