Old Cement Plant

by Floyd Hopper

Gallery: POP PhotosPosted November 26, 2015176 views5 comments
This is the remains of the cement plant that provided materials to build the new Exchequer Dam on the Merced River, Ca. in the 1960's.  Now it has become an artist "canvas"?.  I did add a little creative lighting & artistic filters to this photo.
Thanks for viewing, as always c/c's are welcomed.

Cool old plant. There are a whole lot of shapes, colors and patterns to behold in this one.

Nice treatment on this one, Floyd.  You've given it an art deco look. I like old structures like this, but never seem to portray them as being anything other than old.  This is really nice.

Floyd,
Great shot of a wonderful landmark.  It is an eyecatcher.

I really like all of the colors in this image as well as the different lines offered by the architecture

Really nice collection of roadside art, Floyd, and interesting bit of history.
