Moose Mug Shot

Same moose as my previous post except zoomed in for a close up.  I took Richard Sandor's advice on this one and cloned out the intersection of the grass with the moose's dewlap. Open the large file to feel even closer!

Sony ILCE-6000, FE 70-200mm F4 G @ 200mm, ISO-100, f4.0, 1/100 hand held.

Gary,

a very well done portrait and I do not needed to open the large version for my opinion. In this case I find the plants close to the mouth a bit unfortunate and I would think about cloning them away, considering that you already have done something in that direction.

Nice detail and texture in the mooses coat and face.  I like the plants under the moose as they add some color to a very white area.
thanks for sharing.

Gary: yet another fine image. Now if I could only get my wife to follow my advice that easily. 😎 Richard

Hi Gary,

Nice to see the additional detail here, but in purely "aesthetic" terms my preference lies with the wider view as per the original post. I think Richard's suggestion re: creating a gap between the "bell" and the vegetation paid off here.

Thanks for sharing this one!
