One peice of good news in the Wildlife world is the sucessful increase in the Wild Dog population in Africa.
Increases are being seen everywhere but for me Botswana is still the best place for viewing these wonderful animals.
This was taken in Khwai Community Reserve just before sunset,

Ken,

I have obeserved also that the population of wild dogs has been increasing over the years and that are good news.

I like the relatively low angle of photography in this image, also the soft light is very nice letting the texture of the fur look very detailed. I just wished a bit of more glance in the eyes which I know is under the given conditions difficult.

A nice portrait, Ken!  Dogs with light colors and black faces are very difficult to get right (I have a couple of them very similar looking) but you got the exposure just right in this shot.  I like the intent gaze/focus of this dog.
