This is heavily cropped image taken in Anusoni near Bangalore. Also worked on the trunk to reduce the brightness.
Thanks for viewing. Requesting your valuable comments.

This bird is not looking too happy.  The only nit I have for this image is the vertical trunk on the right side - it looks like the exposure was brought up a bit.  I would lower it and make it quite a bit darker (more shadows)

Venu,

the look is really funny and makes one laugh a bit. As a crop option I would sugest to take away the right hand trunk completely. In my opinion it works and you may try it by moving the browser window in such a way that the trunk is hidden.

The image looks a bit pixalated, I guess due to the strong crop, but you may also try to reduce the noise at the background. I like to do this with Photoshop by marking the area with the magic wand tool and use the reduce noise filter. By doing so subjectively a viewer likes the picture better enlightened

I like the  way the owl is framed by the branches and they give a sense of the small size of the owl.  It looks like your focus ended up on the branch in front of the bird, rather than the bird itself, as it's a bit soft.

The heavy crop caused some artifacts, but a very good catpure. Quite a different bird than North America's spotted owl.

Hi Venu! What a classic image here! I LOVE owls and this is such a pleasing scene! The pose and expression are fantastic, and I love the limb the owl is perched on, as well as the soft greens in the background.

I did note the effects of the crop, and also noticed the end result of your work on the trunk on the right doesn't appear natural to me. I've had a similar result when I've burned in highlights too far and just turned them grey, which appears may be the case here. I think the image is worth another stab at the trunk...if you're not opposed to retouching, you could clone some of the tones and textures in from surrounding areas onto the clipped highlights for a more natural-looking end result. Just a thought.

In any event, I seriously like this image!
