This is the same spider as my previous post.
D90, 105mm, f/6.3, 1/1600, ISO 640, handheld, 85% of original frame. September 2015.
Thanks for looking.

My take on this view is pretty much the same as on the closer up version, Yun. Excellent light, color, subject detail, and bg. As between the two, I do prefer the closer view.

It sure is glowing nicely, Yun, and shows excellent detail. The highlighted grass in the background adds a fine sense of place. It's diagonal stem perch works well also. In this view, it might be worth burning-in the brighter area in the lower left. They look good here, but darkening them a bit would put even more attention on the spider.

The larger image is a must. Great detail and dof on the spider and the lighting is really sweet. I also like the composition.

Yun ..some fine details and light as the previous post..a squarish crop with most of the right side of the frame not being there..?

I like this one too, but I would suggest a further crop (same aspect ratio) to put the spider a bit more in the urc, at the same time emphasising the brown-green V on the left.

May be the same spider but certainly not the same image. The spider is good, but the BG is awesome! This is just plain good! I will willingly be in the minority and say I like it just as it is. I wouldn't change a thing.

Brilliant! I hate spiders, but love your image of one. Love the translucent quality of the spider. Soft focus is very effective.

Wonderful comp and detail in the spider. The blurred out grass in the background is perfect. Love the colors and the highlights in the spider legs.
