Nice job on the exposure of the bird, Ken and a cool pose. When I looked at the larger image, there seemed to be an inordinate amount of noise in the bird for iso 800 with a 1DX-any idea what caused it?

I hoped to get way with the "noise" but it is as you day "inordinate".
Ihave no real idea what caused this but it is continuak problem, with slightly underexposed images
