I was shooting water reflection abstracts when this Canada Goose passed by. Mill Creek MetroParks, Youngstown. D600, 80-400 @116, 1/100, f20, iso 500. Thanks for looking. Suggestions, questions, and other comments welcome. crying

This is a lovely work of art Scott, a beautiful autumn scene reflection. Well seen and captured laugh

I'm not sure if the placement of the goose is ideal though, I wish he was a bit more to the right side of the frame, just past the fourth white tree trunk and a little lower in the frame. But, I know that sometimes mother nature doesn't always give you what you're wishing for.

I'm sure you made photos of this scene without the goose in the frame which I'm sure are just as beautiful.

Scott, I read Ken's comments and completely agree. I think for this abstract, it works even better without he goose at all.

Really nice abstract, Scott. I like the ripples in the water and the two groups of white trunks reflected in it. I do find the position of the goose a little awkward. Given the direction it's facing, I'd agree with Ken's idea of being a bit more to the right in the frame and also a bit lower.

A beautiful fall reflection, Scott.  The goose is a neat connection with reality.  It might be worth cropping the shoreline reflection off the top to push the abstract qualities a bit further.

The ripples in the reflected water are very cool Scott. What a cool fall scene you have captured, goose or no goose.

Scott: I really like what the goose adds to this. Must have been a glorious day to be out with a camera.>=))>
