Beautiful shot, Gary. Its amazing how many different colors you see in a mountain once its lit up and the only one I can put a name to is yellow at the top. Inclusion of the foreground and the detail showing in the shadow serve to enhance the whole composition.
Finally got to AK myself this past summer, visiting the Inside Passage ports, then travelling from Seward up to Denali. Best trip ever and need a return visit. Just can't describe Alaska in one word.

How cool, Gary,...you do have colors other than white in Alaska. You've got fine lioght on this peak, an interesting sky, and good details in the foreground slopes and the lake/wetland.

Lovely late evening light, Gary. I really like the gradation in light as you go up the peaks, and the bit of reflected light in the foreground works very nicely.

Dramatic scene with just enough detail in the foreground to give it depth and the interest. Personal preference would be to pull a little detail from mid-range area. Very different image from Alaska although the lack of snow is a little worrisome.
