Radical Reflector

The Lowe River valley (the upstream side of Keystone Canyon, near Valdez, Alaska) was in the deep shade of the North facing mountain and it would have been quite a bit darker if it wasn't for the monstrous reflector provided by the snow covered South facing mountains.

Please view large if you want to go there.

Sony ILCE-6000, SEL-1670Z @ 20mm, ISO-100, f/7.1, 1/800, handheld.

Another fine, snow covered mountain, Gary.  The stream valley shows well in the larger view and makes an excellent foreground.

Another beautiful mountain image, Gary.  The contrast between the valley and the peaks is perfect.
