I first discovered this location in 2012. At that time I posted
this photograph in the Landscape Gallery. Yesterday I happened upon the location again. About a week ago there were some very strong storms in the area of Zion National Park. Evidence of the storms remains in the form of countless ephemeral water holes and pools throughout the park, particularly along washes in the eastern region, making many sections impassable. I was impressed with how dramatically a small pool of water transformed the scene compared to the 2012 photograph.
