This weekend I went to Vedauwoo, a part of a National Forest half way between Cheyenne and Laramie, WY. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Richard, the last time I camped at Vedauwoo, I have pictures of my girlfriend (now my wife of 30+ years) wearing a pair of my wool socks as mittens in a snow storm (on Memorial Day weekend). This is a fine combo of natural and man made light. You've done a good job of balancing the tent's brightness with the sky lights. Is the brightness of the rest of the foreground from car lights or other light painting?

Other then the tent all of the light is natural light. The moon was 75% full and bright.

Excellent camping photo! You made good use of the moonlight, and I really like the cloud breaking up the uniformity of the sky.

Richard, This is a very cool shot and looks like a great camp. Tents that are lit up like this always look great in the landscape to me. Nice capture!

Fabulous rock formations there.
Excellent job on the exposure, with the stars and clouds, and the lit-up tent. Very well done. Looks like an ad for REI.
